Table 22 together with Palate: America coast to coast Wine Dinner!

On Friday, June 24th, Table 22 hosted an America coast to coast Palate wine dinner. This was a six course dinner with 6 excellent wine pairings! Right when guests entered the door they were greeted with a glass of NV Chandon Blanc de Noirs and a watermelon and tomato lollipop.

Guests then were seated and enjoyed a butter poached day boat Maine lobster with beet emulsion. The wine served with this dish was a 2008 Mount Eden Estate Chardonnay.

The next course was a Table 22-417 "Mosaic" salad where all the ingredients were 100% locally sourced from nearby farms. While eating this delicious dish guests sipped on a glass of 2007 Cargasacchi Vineyard Pinot Noir.

The next dish was brined, smoked, and braised Piedmonteese short ribs! A glass of 2008 Hall Napa Valley Cabernet was poured to compliment this course.

After the amazing short ribs were finished, guests were treated with a tasting of real Artisanal Cheeses. To go with the cheeses a glass of 2006 Paul Hobbs Napa Valley Cabernet was served.

A delicious raspberry tart paired with a NV Marietta Port Lot Number Three helped to finish off this amazing and fun filled night!

This wine dinner was a great place to meet new people and share stories while tasting incredible food and drinking amazing wines! Table 22 would love to host a private gathering for you, whether it be a birthday, business function, rehearsal dinner, or just a friends night out!

Fun Fact about the Most Expensive Coffee!

The most expensive coffee in the world comes from civet poop. Kopi Luwak are coffee beans that come from Civet (a cat sized mammal) poo. The animals gorge on only the finest ripe berries, and excrete the partially-digested beans, which are then harvested for sale. Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between $120 and $600 USD per pound, and is sold mainly in Japan and the United States, but it is increasingly becoming available elsewhere.
